The Fargo Mansion remained in the Fargo family as a single family home until 1945, when the home was purchased and converted into a five family apartment building. The home remained this way until 1981 when foreclosure began its downward spiral of disrepair. By 1985, even though the home had been placed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the property became an eyesore for the community. It was completely boarded up. Devoid of all working mechanical systems. No heat. No water. No electricity. It was a true nightmare. BUT, not all was lost. In July of 1985, Barry Luce and Thomas Boycks purchased the home and began to review the process of decay and to breath new life into this elegant old structure. The sole purpose to transform this home into an elegant, romantic, Victorian bed & breakfast. Opening in June of 1987, the Fargo Mansion Inn has become a destination for first time bed and breakfast guests as well as a return retreat for many over the past 18 years. Please come and enjoy. Pop & Edith Wendt $99/night Reservations It may be the smallest of our available rooms, but seems to define the word "cozy." Warm shades of grey and beige wrap themselves around you and make you feel at home. 	*Addie Hoyt* *$109/night* Reservations Facing the front of the house the soft daylight makes this room a relaxing haven for the weary traveler. A beautiful Victorian bedroom suite with matching chair and loveseats sits atop a beautiful Oriental rug. A full private marble bath, with soaking tub, is popular with the sports enthusiast.

*Mary Rutherford* *$125/night* Reservations This room features a queen bed, period antiques and soft pastels. Plenty of natural light makes this room feel even larger than it is. Antiques and designer linens provide the finishing touches. A full marble bath completes the picture.
	*Elijah Harvey* *$160/night, Jacuzzi* Reservations One of the largest rooms in the Inn, this room features a beautifully matched Victorian bedroom set, Oriental rugs and a separate living area. Done in natural earth tones, the atmosphere provides the perfect place to curl up on the couch and read a book. The large, private bath features a whirlpool for two and a marble floor that resembles a pattern lifted from an Indian rug. This is a perfect room for any special occasion.
*Enoch J. Fargo Suite* *$ 185/night, Jacuzzi, private balcony* Reservations The largest and grandest room in the Inn! Truly a perfect honeymoon destination. This room features a beautiful queen size Victorian bed with a headboard almost nine feet tall. A separate sitting area provides ample space for relaxation. In the warmer months a private porch provides additional space to spend time with your significant other. Last but not least, this room offers a "secret" passageway bathroom. The bookcase wall conceals a bath fit for kings and queens. Pull it away from the wall and reveal a white marble bath with whirlpool for two and separate glass shower. Call early.
