Join us as we celebrate our 20th anniversary .....
It's hard to believe that we have been doing this for 20 years. It just seems like yesterday that we opened the Inn. Some days June of 1987 seems like yesterday, and then on others it seems like a lifetime. This past 20 years hold a lifetime of memories, all made possible by guests like you. Our two children are grown and gone, but still very much part of the Fargo Mansion. Josh,27, get's married this November, and Erin, 31, just got engaged on Valentine's day this year. We will all be heading to Mexico in June of 08 for the destination wedding. Our restaurant, Joseph Megaan's, celebrated 10 years in 2006, another milestone for us. Our Re/Max real estate office has grown from 3 agents to 10 in the past two years, and we just moved to our beautiful new offices downtown Lake Mills. Our city is growing, but still offers that town charm and relaxation we are all looking for. Rock Lake, the Glacial Drumlin Bike trail, and Aztalan State Park are here and waiting for you to enjoy. Our city was also chosen as one of the states newest Main Street Communities this past year, with an on going effort to revitalize our great Historic Downtown. www.lakemillsmainstreet.com boasts a wonderful calendar of events for you to enjoy. Along with those already in place through our chamber of commerce. Festivals for all seasons, weekly farmers markets and band concerts just to name a few. We strive to make your stay with us a memorable experience. Come back, relax on our wrap around front porch with a glass of wine, or enjoy the activities our community and surrounding areas have to offer. We love to see familiar faces at our front door. Of course, we always welcome new ones too! We hope you are having a happy, healthy and prosperous year. Take some time for yourselves and come and see us.
